Labour exposes the pressure on our NHS and social care services, and its effect on staff, patients and their families, in a new film being broadcast this evening.

The real-life experiences of nurses, GPs, surgeons, patients and relatives, are told in the Party Political Broadcast, which will air on BBC One and STV.

Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary Monica Lennon said:

“Labour built our NHS and it is dear to every one of us.

“But hardworking staff are feeling under pressure and undervalued, too many operations are being cancelled, people are spending too long on waiting lists, and some are stuck in hospital when they should be able to go home because of a lack of social care.

“With this film, we’re telling the story of today's NHS, and pledging that Labour will invest in our health workers and the services that we all rely on.”
